A lovely natural plot with a large, level waterside area leading to a sun deck with an outdoor kitchen and a large jetty. Here there is room for all the water toys and several motorboats moored along both sides of the jetty. Children can play ball on the lawn and then sail a dinghy in the sheltered bay. An excellent place for summer camp and to learn the ways of the sea.<\/p><p>The natural plot rises up to the main building, which was extended and fully renovated in 2013. Just behind the main house is a nicely fitted guest cabin. A bit further back among beautiful trees are older storage sheds with an extra outhouse. At the far end of the plot you meet \u00c4lg\u00f6n\u2019s public walking and cycling paths that loop around the island for exercise and lead over to Waxholmsb\u00e5tsbryggan. On the way you pass the old, beautiful \u00c4lg\u00f6 G\u00e5rd, where a Midsummer celebration is arranged for the islanders.<\/p><p>The main house feels very bright and welcoming. Lovely wooden floors and light-painted wood panelling on the walls. A bedroom wing with three generous bedrooms, the largest facing the water with its own exit to the large deck. At the centre of the house is the living room, the perfect place to gather in front of the fireplace. The room is open to the kitchen and the dining area in the glass veranda. Twin exits to the large deck where barbecue dinners are enjoyed in the evening sun. The kitchen is full of charm and offers ample storage. The glass veranda is a delightful spot for long dinners beside the best view. The house has a spacious, welcoming hall and a fresh shower room with a Cinderella incinerating toilet, washbasin and shower corner. Beneath the house is a small cellar store. The roof was replaced in connection with the extension.<br \/><br \/>The property may have the possibility of a boat berth at Lerviks brygga and a parking space on the mainland.<br \/><br \/>By your own boat it is about 15 minutes to Vaxholm for shopping or to enjoy the bustle, a coffee at the heritage homestead caf\u00e9 or dinner at one of the restaurants. Linan\u00e4s on Ljuster\u00f6 is easily reached, with a fuel dock, delicatessen and two fine restaurants. Also close to Grinda with a country store, inn and waterside restaurant. If you don\u2019t feel like going ashore to shop, you can have groceries delivered directly to the jetty via Mathem. Life on Saxarfj\u00e4rden never gets boring. Water sports such as windsurfing, dinghy sailing and water-skiing are at your fingertips when you live like this. Small summer villas were built here in various designs to entice Stockholmers out to the islands. Double exits lead out to the large deck, where you can enjoy barbecues in the evening sun. The kitchen is charming with plenty of storage. The glazed veranda is a lovely spot for long dinners by the best view. The house has a spacious, welcoming hall and a fresh shower room with a Cinderella toilet, washbasin and shower enclosure. Beneath the house is a small cellar storage. The roof was re-laid in conjunction with the extension.<br \/><br \/>The property may have the option of a berth at Lervik jetty and a parking space on the mainland.<br \/><br \/>By your own boat it takes about 15 minutes to Vaxholm for shopping or to enjoy the bustle, a coffee at the heritage museum caf\u00e9, or dinner at one of the restaurants.
