On the ground floor the social areas remain as originally intended. A large hall with beautifully decorated woodcarvings leads on to the living room with wide windows facing the water. To the right lies the dining room with ample space for large dinners, and to the left is the so-called gentlemen\u000019s room. Here you might enjoy a cognac by the open fireplace and, for balmy summer evenings, there is access from this room to a large west-facing covered terrace, sheltered by both a roof and full-height railings. It\u000019s a perfect place to lay the table for Midsummer lunch and the crayfish party, protected from wind and weather, and a fine spot to enjoy the evening sun.<br \/><br \/>As was customary in the past, there is a second entrance on the house\u000019s eastern gable that leads into the large kitchen with a wonderful outlook to the sea.
