Beyond Yxlan the waters open up, and with your own boat it's not far to the true outer archipelago. East of Yxlan lies Blid\u00f6 with, among other places, Blid\u00f6 Brygga & Bistro and the youngsters' favourite, Blid\u00f6 Bio. Other popular archipelago restaurants are found on Furusund, H\u00f6gmars\u00f6, Fejan and Lid\u00f6, all reachable with your own boat.<\/p>

On the island you'll find K\u00f6pmanholms skola, which also includes a preschool. By the ferry terminal there is a kiosk, caf\u00e9 and convenience store open year-round. A wider selection of groceries is available at the ICA store on Blid\u00f6, the archipelago's best shop. In Furusund there is a guest harbour with a restaurant and a fuel dock. This part of the archipelago is wonderfully vibrant with much to see and do, especially in summer.<\/p>

You can get here by car from Stockholm in about an hour, and the ferry crossing takes only a few minutes. It is also easy to travel by bus or with a Waxholmsb\u00e5t to the island; the Kolsvik jetty is the closest, just a stone's throw to the north.<\/p>

The island has K\u00f6pmanholm School, which also includes a preschool. At the ferry landing there is a kiosk, caf\u00e9 and convenience store open year-round. A wider range of groceries is available at the ICA store on Blid\u00f6, the archipelago\u2019s best shop. In Furusund there is a guest harbor with a restaurant and a fuel dock. This part of the archipelago is wonderfully vibrant with much to see and do, especially in summer.<\/p>\\n

You can get here by car from Stockholm in one hour, and the ferry crossing takes only a few minutes. It also works well to come by bus or the Waxholms boat to the island; the Kolsvik jetty is the closest and lies just a stone\u2019s throw to the north.<\/p>\\n
